About the Project
We’re building NewTopDeals.com
— a new affiliate-based deals and product discovery website designed to showcase top online deals and trending products from leading affiliate platforms.
We’re looking for a creative, reliable, and growth-oriented Shopify freelancer who’s passionate about design, development, and eCommerce strategy.
This is a long-term role, not a one-time project. You’ll help shape a real brand from the ground up, while expanding your Shopify portfolio and gaining experience across affiliate integration, design, and optimization.
Your Main Responsibilities
Shopify Setup & Customization
Install and configure Shopify OS 2.0 (Refresh theme)
Customize layouts for homepage, category, and deal pages
Set up menus, collections, and deal navigation
Design & Branding
Apply and refine brand assets (logo, colors, typography)
Create responsive, mobile-first layouts and wireframes
Ensure the site follows clean, modern UX/UI principles
Affiliate Integration
Integrate affiliate platforms (Amazon Associates, Awin, ShareASale, CJ, etc.)
Configure dynamic product feeds and affiliate links
Help automate affiliate deal listings and categories
Ongoing Growth & Development
Add new features, pages, and apps as the site grows
Maintain site speed, SEO, and usability
Participate in regular milestone reviews and updates
Ideal Candidate
Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0, Liquid, and theme customization
Strong skills in design, UX/UI, and responsive layouts
Understanding of affiliate marketing or feed integrations
Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Communicative, reliable, and proactive with feedback
Interested in long-term freelance work and portfolio development
Nice to Have
Experience with Shopify app development or integrations
Familiarity with SEO and conversion optimization
