About the Project

We are developing ChargeItX.com
, a UK-based dropshipping brand focused on smart tech, gadgets, and charging accessories.

We are looking for a creative, reliable, and technically skilled Shopify freelancer to help us design, develop, and optimize our UK-to-UK dropshipping store for performance, conversions, and strong brand consistency.

This is a long-term role with ongoing work, not a one-time project. You will work closely with our team to establish ChargeItX as a recognizable and trusted eCommerce brand while expanding your Shopify and web design portfolio.

Your Main Responsibilities
Shopify Setup & Customization

Set up and configure Shopify Online Store 2.0 (theme to be confirmed)

Customize layouts and templates (Home, Product, Collection, About, Contact)

Configure UK-to-UK shipping, taxes, and checkout flow

Dropshipping Integration

Integrate UK-based suppliers through platforms such as Syncee, Spocket, AppScenic, or DSers (UK suppliers only)

Automate order fulfillment and product synchronization

Set up pricing rules, delivery timelines, and product collections

Brand & Design

Apply and refine ChargeItX branding (logo, colors, typography)

Design a clean, professional, and mobile-first layout

Ensure consistency across all pages and visual elements

Store Optimization

Improve conversion rates, product presentation, and store usability

Optimize page speed, SEO metadata, and image compression

Configure Shopify apps for reviews, upsells, and analytics

Ongoing Development

Add new product lines, categories, and features as the brand grows

Provide updates, improvements, and performance tracking

Collaborate on marketing integrations such as email, analytics, and advertising

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience with Shopify OS 2.0

Knowledge of UK dropshipping suppliers and fulfillment tools

Strong design and UX/UI skills

Skilled in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

Excellent communication and time management

Interested in long-term collaboration and portfolio growth

Nice to Have

Experience with Shopify apps for upsells, reviews, or marketing

Familiarity with UK eCommerce regulations, shipping, and tax setup

Interest in consumer tech, gadgets, or electronics

Project Structure & Milestones

Phase 1 — Setup, Planning & Design Foundation (approximately 30–40 hours)

Shopify setup and theme configuration

Apply ChargeItX branding and color palette

Configure core store settings (shipping, taxes, checkout)

Create homepage, product, and collection templates

Review and milestone approval

Phase 2 — Dropshipping Integration & Optimization (approximately 40–60 hours)

Connect and configure UK-based supplier(s)

Import and optimize product listings

Set up automation, shipping, and inventory sync

Optimize layout for conversions and mobile devices

Phase 3 — Continuous Growth & Support (Ongoing)

Add products, refine categories, and optimize UX

Integrate marketing tools (email, reviews, analytics)

Regular maintenance, updates, and performance checks

Ongoing Rate: hourly (depending on experience and output)
