Shopify ATC File Integration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a developer who can connect a set of ATC files to my existing Shopify store so the data they contain flows in automatically instead of being uploaded by hand. The files drive my product information, stock counts and other store data, so the end result has to update Shopify in real time (or on a reliable schedule we define) without breaking current listings or checkout.
Scope of work
• Analyse the structure of the ATC files and map each field to the correct Shopify object (products, variants, inventory, orders, etc.).
• Build or configure the integration—Liquid customisations, a private Shopify app, API endpoints, webhooks or a middleware script—whatever is most efficient and future-proof.
• Test with sample files to confirm that prices, SKUs, images and inventory levels import correctly and that any subsequent file drop overwrites or amends data as intended.
• Provide brief documentation so I can maintain or extend the connection later.
Acceptance criteria
- A push of fresh ATC data appears in Shopify with no manual intervention.
- Existing products keep their SEO-safe URLs and order history.
- No duplicate listings or inventory mismatches after import.
- Clear rollback option or backup instructions in case I need to revert.
If you have prior experience integrating custom data feeds with Shopify (REST or GraphQL) or have built private apps for automated catalog management, please tell me what approach you’d use and roughly how long you’ll need.
