Senior Shopify Theme & CRO Expert

A new Shopify storefront for our cosmetic and medical-device lines needs a bespoke theme built from the ground up. The Figma files are final, so the first milestone is translating those screens into a clean, Section-based Shopify 2.0 theme that meets Shopify’s performance standards, passes accessibility checks, and is easy for our in-house team to extend.

Beyond the build itself, I also want conversion-rate gains through personalised product recommendations. Whether that’s through Liquid logic, Shopify’s native Search & Discovery app, or a third-party tool you prefer, the end result should show shoppers the right items at the right moment without slowing the site.

Experience in beauty or medical devices is a plus because our catalogue has strict ingredient data and compliance tags, but it is not essential if you can follow detailed specs and work independently against deadlines.

Deliverables

• Integrated personalised-recommendation solution, configured and tested
• Brief hand-off document covering theme settings, key Liquid snippets, and recommendation logic

Acceptance criteria
1. Theme scores 90+ on Shopify’s online store speed test.
2. All core templates validated through Theme Check with no critical errors.
3. Personalised recommendations active on product and cart pages, with click-through tracking enabled.

I’ll be available for quick feedback but expect you to manage your own schedule and flag blockers early so we stay on time.
