SHOPIFY STORE BUILDER & ECOMMERCE VA (LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for an experienced Shopify professional to build the first phase of my new ecommerce business, with the opportunity for ongoing work after a successful launch.
I’ve owned a successful home furnishings business in San Francisco for more than 22 years and am transitioning to an online-only business. I represent an established Scandinavian rug brand with an existing product line, professional product photography and a clear business direction. I’m looking for someone who can help turn that foundation into an outstanding Shopify store.
This project is milestone-based with fixed-price payments. If we’re a good fit, I’d like to continue working together on future phases as the business grows.
PHASE 1 RESPONSIBILITIES
✦ build, customize and launch a professional Shopify store
✦ configure products, collections, navigation, shipping, payments and essential apps
✦ set up approximately 16 product families with about 152 color variants and 77 size variants
✦ upload and organize product images
✦ organize product options, variants and collections for a clean shopping experience
✦ recommend Shopify apps, workflows and practical improvements that will help the business grow
FUTURE PHASES
Successful completion of Phase 1 may lead to additional fixed-price projects that include:
✦ product descriptions
✦ image optimization
✦ on-page SEO
✦ store optimization
✦ ongoing Shopify management and ecommerce growth
REQUIREMENTS
✦ strong Shopify experience
✦ experience building stores with large product catalogs and complex variants
✦ excellent written and spoken English
✦ strong attention to detail
✦ ability to work independently and communicate clearly
✦ willingness to recommend better workflows and practical improvements
