Real-Time Shopify Customization Page

I need a purpose-built product page on my existing Shopify store that lets shoppers personalize an item and see their changes instantly. I will only offer up to three customization fields, yet each one must trigger a live image refresh so customers always know exactly what they’re getting before they add it to the cart.

Please build this directly into my current theme (no external app subscriptions). Liquid, JavaScript, AJAX, and the Shopify Theme API are all fair game as long as the end result is lightweight, mobile-friendly, and plays nicely with the rest of the storefront. When a customer finishes personalizing, every choice must flow through to the cart and Shopify admin so it appears in order details without manual intervention on my side.

Deliverables

• Clean, commented Liquid/JS so I can tweak text or swap images later
