Prestashop to Shopify Store Migration

I run an established online store on Prestashop and want to spin up a fully-functioning Shopify version so I can measure whether traffic, conversions, and day-to-day management really improve before committing to a permanent switch.

Scope
• Copy the full catalogue from Prestashop into Shopify—products, variants, prices, SKUs, images, and meta tags must remain intact. (there should be existing shopify modules for migrating this data)
• Recreate every non-design element that matters to shoppers: categories/collections, shipping rules, tax settings, discount logic, and any existing customer or order data that can legally be migrated.
• Theme: I do NOT want to duplicate the old look. Instead, present two or three theme directions with live demos so I can choose. I’m open to modern minimal, bold, or corporate styles; your professional recommendation will carry weight.
• Configure essential Shopify apps (analytics, reviews, email capture, currency, payment gateways) so the store is launch-ready.

Acceptance criteria
1. All listed products display correctly, with variants functioning.
2. Chosen theme is customised, mobile-responsive, and passes Shopify speed tests.
3. Basic on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions) mirrors the current site.
4. Store passes a test order from cart through payment and fulfilment workflow.
5. I receive a hand-over document explaining theme edits, installed apps, and how to manage day-to-day tasks in Shopify.

I will supply the Prestashop back-office credentials, product exports, and brand assets. Please outline your proposed workflow and expected turnaround so I can green-light the project and begin the test phase quickly.

The website should be completed within approximately 3 to 4 weeks. If your assessment indicates a different timeline then please present your expected development timeline start to end. I have assigned an arbitrary budget for this project. You are free to propose a budget that better reflects the work you will be doing for the project even if it is greater than the budget we have assigned.
