Migrate WordPress Store to Shopify

We are a telecommunications company based in the United States that specializes in antennas, coaxial cables, and connectivity solutions for the telecommunications, electronics, and data communications industries. We are seeking an experienced Shopify developer to migrate our existing WordPress website to Shopify, redesign the site, and build a custom product configurator for our catalog.

Project Scope

We need a developer who can:

Migrate content (pages, products, media, SEO metadata) from WordPress to Shopify without data loss.

Redesign the website with a modern, professional, and responsive layout aligned with our brand.

Develop a custom product configurator that allows customers to build/select product variations (e.g., cable lengths, connector types, etc.) with dynamic pricing and exportable order details.

Integrate e-commerce functionality (shopping cart, checkout, and payment gateway) using Shopify.

Optimize for SEO and performance to ensure fast load times and strong rankings.

Implement best practices for security and scalability on Shopify.

Qualifications

Proven experience migrating WordPress sites to Shopify

Strong Shopify development skills, including custom app or feature creation

Experience building custom configurators, product builders, or advanced product options

Strong portfolio of Shopify redesign projects

Expertise in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Shopify Liquid

SEO and e-commerce best practices knowledge

Preferred Skills

UI/UX design experience

Database management and product catalog structuring

Experience with B2B or technical product stores (a plus)
