Luxury Menswear Shopify Migration & Development

We are an established luxury menswear brand with a physical retail presence in Montreal, planning to migrate our existing eCommerce website from NOPCommerce to Shopify.
This is not a template-based migration.
Our priority is to build a premium, editorial, high-end Shopify experience that reflects our brand heritage, in-store credibility, and long-term growth goals.
We are looking for an experienced Shopify expert or team with proven experience in:
Premium fashion eCommerce
Custom Shopify themes
SEO-safe platform migrations
Key Objectives
Migrate from NOPCommerce to Shopify without losing SEO rankings
Build a luxury, editorial-style Shopify storefront
Avoid a “stock Shopify theme” look
Support English & French (EN/FR) content
Optimize the site for performance, mobile UX, and scalability
Design & UX Expectations
We are specifically looking for:
Editorial spacing and layouts
Strong, premium photography presentation
Minimal UI noise
Calm, luxury browsing experience
Custom PDP (product detail page) layouts
If the end result feels like fast-fashion or a standard Shopify template, it will not meet our expectations.
Product Page (PDP) Requirements
Product pages are critical for us. The solution should support:
Advanced variant handling (size, fit, color)
High-quality image zoom & gallery behavior
Size guide integration
Upsells / cross-sells (e.g., “Complete the look”)
Clear but refined “Add to Cart” emphasis
Excellent mobile PDP experience
Technical Scope
Platform & Theme
Shopify (standard or Plus — open to recommendation)
Custom Shopify theme OR heavily customized premium theme
Clean, maintainable codebase
High Lighthouse scores (performance & mobile)
Migration Scope
