Full-time Senior Shopify Developer for a Software Development Agency

We create, design, and develop products that include websites, web apps, mobile systems, back-end systems, CRMs, and automated services. We also build content, marketing, and growth plans for businesses of every size.
We are looking to hire a motivated, solutions-oriented Senior Shopify Developer who has experience confidently working in an agile and collaborative environment with great personal organization and time management skills. Ability to apply innovative ideas in creating, designing, and developing products catering to our client’s needs. Being able to provide some one-of-a-kind industry-superior solutions in designing products and content creation.
This is a full-time remote position.
We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer specifically with these requirements:
Fluent spoken and written English
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in building customized Shopify apps (not just installing plugins)
Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, and Javascript Frameworks (jQuery/React.js/Vue.js)
Proficient in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc.)
Understanding of backend programming (Ruby on Rails/PHP)
Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization
Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language
Has a thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Has a strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at the same time
Nice to have:
Shopify certification
Your responsibility will include (but not limited to):
Take care of a number of Shopify stores for a client from a coding standpoint
Interact and collaborate with the product team through Slack and manage the ongoing projects
Provide reports on the status of ongoing tasks
Give opinions and recommendations on the best way of implementing things asked by the product team — limitations, workaround, and so on
Setup a valid staging environment where you can test and validate hypothesis and iterate
Have a bulletproof deployment plan that would not interrupt sales or current workflows
A good eye for speed improvements that can be made to the overall website
