Complete Shopify Store Setup
Budget: £100 – £150 GBP
I’m gearing up to launch a brand-new Shopify store and want it fully built, polished, and ready to start accepting orders. You’ll take the project from a blank account to a live, customer-friendly storefront.
Scope of work
• Set up the Shopify account and configure all core settings (currency, taxes, shipping, payment gateways).
• Recommend and install a theme, then tailor it so branding, colors, and layout feel cohesive across desktop and mobile.
• Build out the foundational pages—home, catalog, product, cart, checkout, about, contact—and add any legal pages Shopify requires.
• Upload initial products (or clear placeholders) so I can see exactly how collections, variants, and inventory behave.
• Integrate essential apps or native features for reviews, live chat, and blog posts once we confirm which ones suit the store strategy.
• Optimize basic on-page SEO: descriptive URLs, meta titles, image alt text, and an intuitive navigation structure.
• Test the full purchase flow—from browsing to order confirmation—to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Provide a concise walkthrough (screen share or document) so I can independently add products, publish blog posts, and manage orders after hand-off.
Acceptance criteria
• Store loads correctly on current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, plus iOS and Android devices.
• Payment gateway processes at least one successful test transaction.
• No visible placeholder text or broken links on any live page.
• Admin guide clearly explains updating products, pages, and theme settings.
Once the store meets these checkpoints, I’ll connect the domain and go live.
