Bespoke Shopify Operations Plugin
Budget: $250 – $750 SGD
I need a purpose-built Shopify app that streamlines daily store operations and fits my exact workflow, rather than forcing me to adapt to an off-the-shelf solution. Out-of-the-box apps come close, but I want something highly customized—from data structure to UI—to keep everything in one place and running automatically.
Key goals
• Centralise routine tasks such as inventory updates, order handling, and shipping logic in a single dashboard.
• Allow me to define my own rules, statuses, and notifications instead of relying on rigid presets.
• Integrate cleanly with existing Shopify APIs so future theme or checkout updates never break the app.
I’m open to your suggestions on specific approaches—whether that means extending existing libraries or building from scratch in Node.js or Ruby, so long as the end result is robust, scalable, and easy for staff to use.
Please include in your proposal:
1. A brief outline of the architecture you’d use for a fully custom Shopify app.
2. Examples (GitHub links or live stores) that show comparable custom features you’ve built.
3. A realistic timeline from discovery to launch, including time for testing within my store.
