Shell Script for Git Delta Generation
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I'm looking for a shell script that can generate a delta between two git branches. The primary purpose of this delta is for release preparation.
Requirements:
- The delta should be output in plain text.
- The script should specifically handle both source code files and configuration files.
I want a shell script which runs on rhel, Jenkins will have a branch 'feature1' branch is created based on 'develop' branch, in 'feature1' branch, if there are 5 files modified, I would like to create a directory called 'delta' and move these 5 files in comparing 'feature1' to 'origin/develop' branch. This delta package will be used for a deployment purpose.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in shell scripting
- Extensive experience with Git
- Strong understanding of source code and configuration files
This script will be pivotal in our release process, so accuracy and efficiency are key.
