Need a season bash shell scripting

Need someone to help with some bash shell scripting. We need to script users login and logout in redhat servers. The login and logout are store in /var/log/wtmp and to view content of this file you need to use last command. The problem is that when you use to command to view the content it gives the entire file content, however, we need someone to build a bash shell script that will filter the content so we can view just logs for the past 1 hour.
