File-Rename Script/Tool needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a script, or a tool which I could run from my desktop, which renames a lot of files in many folders and subfolders.
The script should then check each word within the file name against a word list and then replace it exactly as it appears in the word list. The upper and lower case should be taken over exactly as in the word list.
The parts of the file name that the script does not find in the word list should be left untouched.
To do this, it must work its way from the folder in which the script is started through every subfolder below it.
The word list also contains special characters such as German umlauts (öäüÖÄÜß) and must still be processed cleanly.
Windows prefered, but if it´s only running on Linux, I would install a virtual Machine for this.
