We have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Course Instructor who wants to help us shape the future of the industry. You will support the online bootcamp style program which will give learners an introduction to Cloud Computing.

What you’ll do:
The Assistant Course Instructor - Cloud Computing is pivotal to Academy Xi’s next phase of growth and will primarily focus on collaborating with the Lead Instructor to deliver a high quality and personalised learning experience for all participants.
Follow the overarching structure and flow of the curriculum, including behavioural skills, mindsets, technical, and employment essentials sessions.
Guide students through asynchronous (independent) learning modules and help solidify understandings debriefs and synchronous moments
Prepare and personalise sessions by reviewing curriculum materials and integrating stories or examples to increase participant learning.
Engage participants in active thinking and participatory learning using effective communication and facilitation techniques.
Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs and accommodate different learning styles.
Provide in-the-moment feedback to participants to clarify misunderstandings and/or encourage critical thinking.
Provide differentiated and one-on-one support to motivate and support participants to persevere through challenges
Coach and guide students to be as employable as possible and support them to develop industry standard portfolios
Input data using Generation’s technology platform (e.g., participant attendance, performance in class and assessments, etc.)
Collaborate with the Curriculum and Instruction Lead to support program quality and continuous improvement.
Who you are:
Passionate about technology and training, you’ll have a high level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to ensure your student’s success.
An education expert (e.g. teacher, instructor, trainer) with cloud experience, or a cloud expert with experience instructing/teaching.
Exceptional ability to tailor content to different learners and experience teaching online.
Enjoy delivering sessions with energy and enthusiasm to generate excitement about learning new technical and behavioural skills.
Build strong relationships with younger and older adults and have a proven record to ensure participants successfully complete the program.
At least 1-2 years industry experience as a Cloud engineer or developer
Relevant qualifications or industry certification in Cloud technologies is preferred.
Teaching or coaching experience is desirable.
Experience working with adults and/or has extensive knowledge of current trends and issues in adult knowledge
Proficiency in working on Linux Operating System
Proficiency in Scripting languages such as Shell and Python
Understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies, particularly the skills covered in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
Understanding of Networking and Security concepts
Understanding of DevOps Fundamentals, including source control, integration, project management and SCRUM
