Bash script

Job ID: 36661458

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

I'm seeking a professional developer proficient in creating custom bash scripts.

The specific task at hand involves developing a personalized script for installing Ubuntu without user intervention. Here are the steps involved:
1. Begin with a minimal Ubuntu 22.04 LTS ISO.
2. Extract the ISO contents to a designated working directory.
3. Incorporate the necessary packages and their dependencies, as provided in a given list.
4. Integrate a customized software package, extracted from a .tgz file, into the root directory of the completed installation.
5. Reassemble the customized ISO with all the modifications.
6. Execute a provided script from the aforementioned .tgz file once the packages have been installed.
It's important that the entire process is automated and does not require any user input during installation. This initiative forms part of a project aimed at transitioning from CentOS 7 to Ubuntu.

To ensure that you've fully understood the requirements, kindly include the name of your favorite iconic literary character in your proposal.
Here are some questions that I would ask:
1. What experience do you have with creating custom bash scripts, specifically for automating software installations?
2. Are you familiar with extracting and modifying Ubuntu ISOs? Could you describe a similar project you've worked on in the past?
3. Can you ensure that the final script will run smoothly and without user intervention during the installation?
4. How would you go about integrating custom software packages into the installation?
5. Do you have any experience transitioning from CentOS to Ubuntu? If yes, could you please elaborate?
Thank you for considering this project. I will share additional details soon.
