Project Overview:
The project involves creating a web-based catering ordering system for a school camp
organizer. The system currently used is an excel based system and the system and data are
available to the successful freelancer to utilise. The current Excel-based provisioning system
is used to order food and supplies for approximately 400 school camps each year conducted
across ten different sites with multiple suppliers. The client requires the system to be
accessible through their SharePoint intranet , user-friendly, easy to edit, and capable of
generating various reports, including supplier orders, menu, recipe cards, catering reports,
temperature records, and stock levels. The new system should also handle complex dietary
requirements and orders. This involves each recipe having multiple dietary replacement
meals included in the order.
Happy to go through the current excel based system in detail with the successful freelancer
to ensure the outcomes of the project are understood and met with a new system.

Project Objectives:
1. Convert the existing Excel-based provisioning system into a web-based application
that can be accessed from SharePoint intranet.
2. Develop an intuitive user interface for adding, updating, and changing recipes and
other details.
3. Integrate features that enable easy order placement for different sites and suppliers,
including stock delivery to head office and sending to sites.
4. Develop comprehensive reports for supplier orders, menu, recipe cards,
catering, temperature records, and stock levels.
5. Enable the system to save complete copies of orders, menu, reports, etc., on a
camp-by-camp basis.
6. Develop the system to handle complex dietary requirements and orders.

Scope of Work:
1. Understand the current Excel-based provisioning system, its features, and limitations.
2. Analyze the client's requirements and identify the necessary features and
functionalities for the new system.
3. Develop a web-based application using modern web technologies.
4. Design an intuitive user interface that is easy to navigate and user-friendly.
5. Integrate a database to store all necessary data for the system.
6. Develop features for easy order placement across various sites and
suppliers, with stock delivery to head office and sites.
7. Develop reports for multiple suppliers' orders, menu, recipe cards, catering reports,
temperature records, and stock levels.
8. Ensure the system can handle complex dietary requirements and orders.
9. Test the system thoroughly to identify and fix bugs and issues.
10. Deploy the system to the client's SharePoint intranet.

Deliverables:
