Sharepoint server is down. Unable to start the Sharepoint Timer service
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
Today our SharePoint server went down. I noticed that I keep getting an error message every time I try to start the SharePoint timer service.
Error 1053 The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
-I have tried adding the key value in registry called Servicepipetimeout and set it to 180000 but no luck.
-Tried restart the service but keep getting the same error message I mentioned above
-Tried updating windows server as well rebooted the server but no luck
