SharePoint - Auto Title and Metadata Setup

I need SharePoint Online configured so that every new file in existing folder receives an accurate title plus four key pieces of metadata: document title, created date, amendment date, and department. I am looking to use Microsoft 365 Co-Pilot but will be open to any other method. Doc title will be as per our existing file-naming conventions to work out which department each document belongs to.
Scope
• Limit the automation to the specific folders
• Co-Pilot (or another native Microsoft 365 approach you recommend) should parse the file name, generate a clean title, and populate the site columns for created date, amendment date and department at the moment of upload or on a scheduled sweep.
• The solution must sit entirely inside SharePoint Online—no third-party add-ins.
Deliverables
• A working configuration in my test environment first
• Share screen share to implement this in production
