About Altiorem
Altiorem is the world’s first community built sustainable finance library. We are a registered charity, with a global platform dedicated to supporting advocates for sustainable finance while also engaging and educating the next generation of business and finance leaders on critical sustainability issues like climate change and sustainable development.
Altiorem hosts a cloud-based library which employs a Wikipedia style model of community content creation. Student volunteers and interns summarise sustainable finance research, whilst also gaining important grounding in sustainable finance. This work is overseen and supported by industry professionals and experts who mentor and collaborate with interns on research summaries prior to them being published in the library.
We have employed a Microsoft 365 provider to build a volunteer platform for the volunteer journey from onboarding to offboarding. The platform is customised and uses Microsoft Teams, Moodle (the learning management system), SharePoint, Azure, Bookings, Power Automate and Power BI.
About the role
We are looking for a part-time Microsoft expert to support the ongoing maintenance and development of Altiorem’s volunteer platform including:
- Understanding and maintaining the API integration between our WordPress site and Microsoft SharePoint
- Creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide necessary training to team members
- Keeping track of issues within our volunteer system, troubleshooting system problems, resolving issues and communicating solutions with team members
- Improving user experience and design
- Planning system updates and implementing platform development
Skills
- 2+ years of demonstrated Power Platform experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated system and/or business analysis
- Extensive hands-on experience of Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, Power Automate and Teams
- Good time management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Design and develop SharePoint based applications
