I work for a company with an on prem server environment. We are wanting a way to track all new servers that we are building. Currently the requirements for the new servers are being added to an excel template, and stored locally.
We are using Office 365 and have microsoft teams channels that are linked to OneDrive, and Sharepoint.
1. when an excel file is loaded to a specific sharepoint folder, the table contents should be copied to a sharepoint list
2. There should be no duplicate rows in the list. If data already exists, using the server name as a Key, update the existing data
3. Move the file to an archive folder (or copy + delete). If the file already exists in archive folder, replace the existing file. (It does not appear that my company will allow moving files via onedrive. If possible ths should be done via sharepoint
