Enhance SharePoint User Directory Using PNP Search
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need assistance enhancing an internal user directory in SharePoint, utilizing PnP Modern Search. The functionality should resemble the People Search example provided, but with modifications as listed below:

- SharePoint Search vs Microsoft Search
I followed the example in the link above creating the initial user directory with SharePoint search. Natively SharePoint Search does not allow me to identify enabled vs disabled users. This is critical as I need to be able to filter out disabled users. Microsoft Search should be able to provide this data since graph should be able to see the user's status.
- Component Size
I want to use the "Regular" component size, but by default only Display Name and Title are shown. I need the following fields to be displayed when using "Regular": Display Name, Title, Department, Phone, Email, EmployeeID
- EmployeeID
This also goes back to Microsoft Search. I believe this Azure/Entra field is accessible via graph which is what Microsoft Search uses. However, if there is a way to map and sync that from Azure into SharePoint then SharePoint Search is fine to use.
- Exclude certain results based on criteria such as email domain, display name, description, department, etc. This fairly factory standard and I have working currently with the SharePoint Search. If we use MS Search, then you will need to provide instructions on how to filter.

- You must have access to your own 365 tenant to test with. I cannot give you access to our production environment. I can do screen share and work with you to make changes to production but no direct access.
- You must have working knowledge of SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Azure and Graph API.
