Create a Simple Doc Library in SharePoint

I need help setting up a document Library in sharepoint. I would like instruction so I can set it up myself. I will explain what I am trying to do and I would like someone to direct me. I will explain as we jointly collaborate on the screen. This will be more of a teaching session than a project. I will need 2-3 hours in the next 24-48 hours.
