Blazor Server App for Photo Uploads
Budget: $10 – $100 USD
We're looking for a skilled Blazor Server developer to build a **mobile-friendly web app** that allows users to:
* Capture or select photos on their phone
* Upload them directly to a **SharePoint Online** document library
* Tag each photo with a provided metadata string
This application will be used in a production environment for field workers to quickly document jobs or issues, so reliability and mobile usability are critical.
---
### **Core Requirements:**
* **Blazor Server** app (not WebAssembly)
* Works on **mobile browsers** (iOS/Android)
* Users can **take photos** using the phone camera or **select from gallery**
* Upload images to a **SharePoint Online document library**
* Tag images with a **string metadata value** (we’ll provide the label at runtime)
* Use **Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)** for authentication during production (you will configure auth in your dev tenant)
* Fully **responsive design** and UX optimized for quick mobile interaction
---
### SharePoint & Auth Details:
* We use **Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online**
* You must **use your own Microsoft 365 dev tenant** for development/testing
* In production, authentication will use our **Azure AD setup**
* Uploads will be tied to a specific document library (no folder selection by users)
---
### Metadata Requirements:
Each photo should be tagged with:
* A provided **string field**
* Automatically capture basic metadata such as:
* **Timestamp**
* **User identity (from login)**
* Optional: **GPS location** (if permission is granted by device)
---
### Deliverables:
* Complete **.NET 8+ Blazor Server** solution
* Clean UI/UX for mobile (camera/gallery upload flow)
* Working SharePoint upload integration
* Metadata tagging per photo
* Deployment instructions
---
### Timeline:
We aim to complete a **beta-ready MVP in 2–3 weeks**. Ongoing improvements and enhancements are possible if the collaboration works well.
---
### Ideal Candidate:
* Experience with **Blazor Server**
* Deep understanding of **JavaScript Interop** (for camera and file input)
* Familiar with **Microsoft Graph API** or SharePoint REST for file uploads
* Has their own **Microsoft 365 Developer Account** ([https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/dev-program/](https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/dev-program/))
* Comfortable working with **OAuth and Azure AD**
