Description:
We are looking for an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop/VM Optimization Specialist to enhance the performance, cost-efficiency, and automation of our virtual desktop infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), and automation tools such as Power Automate.
Requirements:
•Extensive experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and VM optimization. Proficiency in cost-saving strategies and performance balancing on Azure. Expertise in configuring email automation protocols using Power Automate. •Ability to create automated schedules for VM operations (1 hr, 3hr, 5hr, 8hr, 12hr, and simple on/off).
Familiarity with tools and techniques.
Automatic Scaling, automated Backups, security improvement, monitouring outputs, seperate drive isolated for SharePoint/OneDrive links.
Responsibilities:
Assess and optimise current virtual desktop/VM setup for cost savings and performance improvements. Implement and configure protocols for email automation and VM operation scheduling.
Develop and implement scripts for automated VM operation based on predefined time increments and simple on/ off functions.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure optimal operation. Provide recommendations for further enhancements and cost-saving opportunities.
