Project Description:
We are seeking an experienced developer to create an API that facilitates integration between Microsoft SharePoint and OpenAI's GPT models (like ChatGPT).
The goal is to enable automated and real-time interaction with files stored in SharePoint, utilizing the advanced natural language processing capabilities of GPT.
Specific Objectives:
Authentication and Connection with Microsoft Graph API: Use existing credentials (Application ID and Application Secret) to authenticate and connect with Microsoft Graph API. This will enable access and manipulation of files in SharePoint.
Development of a Communication Interface: Create an interface that enables communication between OpenAI's GPT models and SharePoint via Microsoft Graph. This includes the ability to read, write, and modify Excel documents and other file types stored in SharePoint.
Integration and Testing with ChatGPT: Implement and test integration with ChatGPT, ensuring the API can receive inputs from ChatGPT and perform corresponding actions in SharePoint (like updating data in an Excel file).
Security and Permission Management: Ensure the API handles data securely, adhering to our company’s privacy and security policies.
Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Provide detailed documentation of the solution architecture, code, and procedures for future modifications or maintenance.
Required Skills:
Experience in API development.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint.
Experience working with OAuth 2.0 and Azure AD.
Familiarity with OpenAI language models, especially ChatGPT.
Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
