Automating Deletion of SharePoint Shared Links
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a Microsoft SharePoint expert to assist me in automating the deletion of shared links, both for documents and folders, created within the system. The deletion should take place precisely 14 days after the link has been shared.
Key requirements:
- Utilizing APIs: I've done a fair bit of research and have been unable to identify an endpoint that provides the creation date of shared links. This implies that the freelancer should be proficient in working with SharePoint APIs.
- Specific Deletion: The deletion process should only apply to specific documents and folders, not all. Only those shared to external people
Please note that the shared links should be deleted completely, not just disabled.
Ideal freelancer:
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint: A sound understanding of how SharePoint works and its APIs is a must.
- Previous Experience: Experience with automating actions in SharePoint would be a plus.
- Coding Skills: Being able to write the necessary code for this automation process. We are using a SOAR solution but as long as you can produce it in Python we can translate aftee
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring that only specific documents and folders are deleted after the 14-day period.
