Automate Excel File Sync with SharePoint

I need a solution to synchronize an Excel file (.xlsm) on my Windows computer with an online version stored in SharePoint that is an xlsx. This online Excel file is updated through a MS Form submission which I need reflected on my local system, and I would like this process to be automated.
