Women’s Trouser Prototype & Alterations
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I already have a base pattern for a pair of women’s trousers and now need a skilled sample-maker to turn it into a wearable prototype while refining it along the way.
You’ll receive the digital pattern files plus my measurement sheet and design notes. From there, I’m counting on you to:
• Sew one clean, test-quality prototype using suiting-weight calico or a similar fit fabric.
• Tweak the pattern directly as you fine-tune fit
• Re-work the pocket shape/placement
• Mark all alterations on the pattern pieces and return the updated digital file along with the physical sample.
Once the prototype is approved, future runs are possible, but for now I simply need one spot-on sample and the corrected pattern. If you’re confident in precise sewing, pattern correction and creative waistband/pocket work, I’d love to collaborate.
