Women’s Suit Tailoring Partner Needed

I’m setting up a new women’s clothing label built around impeccably tailored suits and need a skilled tailor to bring the first collection to life. The immediate brief is straightforward—produce sample and small-batch runs of women’s suits (jacket, trouser and optional skirt) that look sharp on a variety of body types.

At this point I’m still refining any extra custom features, so I value a collaborator who can advise on construction details—canvas vs. fused fronts, sleeve head structure, pocket variations, lining options and similar touches—while remaining comfortable delivering a clean, standard silhouette when that’s all that’s required.

What I’ll provide
• Tech packs with measurements and sketches
• Fabric, trims and notions (or reimburse if you can source better)
• Size chart and fit notes after our first fitting session

What I need from you
• Accurate pattern cutting or adjustment of my patterns
• One toile for fit approval, then final samples in production fabric
• Clear communication on lead times, material yields and any fit issues you spot
• Consistent workmanship—precise seams, balanced jackets, crisp pressing

After the samples are signed off, I’d like to discuss ongoing small-batch production, so scalability is a plus. If you have industrial equipment for suiting (walking-foot machines, blind-stitch hemmer, keyhole buttonholer), please mention it.
