Percussion Accessory Faux Fur Cover
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I'm looking for a skilled artisan with expertise in sewing and experience with faux fur materials. The task at hand is to create a custom faux fur cover for my hand-held percussion accessory. The details include:
- The accessory is a small size, measuring less than 10 inches, the core unit is 90mm in total diameter and the faux fur jacket will be secured to the core unit by tightening two drawstrings which will be fitted into a narrow hem on either side
- I prefer a short and smooth texture for the faux fur; I have experimented with polyester and acrylic. I’m happy to ship this to whoever takes on the job.
- Crafting precision and attention to detail are a must to ensure a snug fit for the accessory.
The item will be used frequently to play a percussion instrument by striking the instrument with the item which is dressed in the faux fur
If the finished product suits my needs I can offer regular long term work
I have attached two photos, one is the core unit I need dressing in faux fur and the other is a mock up using felt to demonstrate what the faux fur cover needs to look like
