Innovative Cat Tunnel Sleeve Replacement

I’d like to replace the heavy material sleeve of spring coil cat tunnel w/ 2 removable shorter pieces identical to original sleeve design but shorter and made of tulle or fine netting that would allow airflow and sunlight completely through.
I am cutting the coil wire tunnel in half to make 2 tunnels yet the wire encasement sleeve tunnel holding wire in place and keeping structure should be open or would allow me to slide the new shorter coils and rings on the ends into place. Make 2 types of caps for ends. 1. “Shower-cap” type design made of same material and elastic but with enough material to make a pouch. 2. A round ring flat top cap design but a way to slide ring/wire in for assembly and out for washing. Both would secure itself with elastic but flat top could also be Velcro.

I have a specific tulle in mind but a very fine netting might work as well.
If you can reinforce stress points without blocking airflow or sunlight even better. I can ship the existing tunnel for reference along with sending exact measurements and photos. I will not be using this for the cat but want this same structure.
