Custom Tailoring & Suit Alterations

My name is Eva and I run a custom clothing business. I'm in need of a skilled tailor for regular alterations on suits. This includes:

-Taking in or out a suit coat’s side seams
- Hemming pants
- Shortening or lengthening sleeves
- Taking in or out suit pant waistband or seat
- Tapering or letting out a suit pant leg

For a seasoned tailor, there may be opportunities for more complex alterations, such as:

- Shortening a suit coat length
- Lowering a front waist band
- Lowering a collar roll
- Lengthening or shortening a rise

Most of the suits are made from wool.

Ideal skills and experience for this job:
- Professional tailoring experience, particularly with suits
- Proficiency with wool fabrics and with men’s suiting
- Ability to perform moderate alterations
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Capacity for taking on more complex alterations (optional)

Musr have at least two years of suit tailoring experience. Must be willing to travel to Brentwood or Clayton.
