Custom Men's Cotton Blend Onesie
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I want a skilled garment maker to reproduce a very specific men’s button-front onesie pajama that I will share through a clear reference photo. The key point is a close-to-body silhouette: it should hug the torso without feeling restrictive, then taper cleanly into stretch cuffs at both wrists and ankles. A soft cotton-blend jersey (something like 95 % cotton / 5 % spandex works) will give the gentle stretch I’m after while keeping that breathable cotton feel.
Front closure is a simple row of flat plastic buttons; please choose a size and spacing that avoids gaping once the suit is on. Seams must be smooth against the skin and robust enough for frequent wear and washing.
I’ll provide my full measurements alongside the photo, and I’m happy to answer any sizing questions before you begin. After receiving your first draft pattern or muslin, I’d like one round of minor tweaks if they’re needed to perfect the fit.
Deliverables
• Digital sewing pattern and spec sheet (PDF or compatible format)
• Tech pack detailing fabric weight, cuff ribbing, notions, and construction notes
• One finished sample sewn in the agreed cotton blend, shipped to me
• Up to two minor adjustment rounds on pattern/fit after I try the sample
The project is complete when the finished garment matches the reference photo, sits snugly through the body, buttons smoothly, and the cuffs keep their grip after light wear testing.
