ServiceNow Developer for Backend Functionality

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development with a strong focus on
Service portal backend functionality.
• Proficiency in Javascript and Glide API (GlideRecord, GlideSystem, etc.)
• Experience in UI Builder
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture and data model.
• Experience working with REST APIs, integrations, and MID Servers.




Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement backend components of the ServiceNow Service Portal
using Javascript, Glide API, and other server-side technologies.
• Create and manage server-side scripts including Script Includes, Business
Rules, Workflow scripts, and UI Actions.
• Develop custom APIs and integrations to support data retrieval and manipulation
within the ServiceNow Ecosystem.
• Optimize portal performance and ensure adherence to platform governance,
best practices, and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and front-end developers to deliver seamless
portal experiences.
• Participate in agile development practices including Sprint Planning, code
reviews, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend logic, performance, and data
integrity.
• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.
