Responsibilities
Developing, installing, and troubleshooting ServiceNow applications.
Be accountable for designing, building, and deploying solutions, monitoring systems, and developing integrations with other applications.
Generate and maintain technical design and configuration documents.
Maintain knowledge and understanding of the latest ServiceNow features and product offerings.
Proactively identify potential issues, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions for problems.
Responsible for ensuring that the software behaves as designed by testing it for bugs and performance during all stages of the development process.
Perform code reviews to ensure that the quality bar is being met regarding coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security.
Develop enhancements for applications developed by the enterprise application development team.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience.
3 or more years of development experience using the ServiceNow platform.
Experience with use of Agile methodologies for software development.
In depth knowledge of development on the ServiceNow Platform, including client and server scripting, ServiceNow REST APIs, and custom widget development in Service Portal.
Experience developing, updating, and interpreting JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform.
Knowledge of ServiceNow development and configuration best practices.
Knowledge of ServiceNow database hierarchies and design.
Experience with development, customization, and administration of multiple components of ServiceNow.
Excellent communications skills.
Excellent teamwork skills.
