looking to create correct server infrastructure
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm aiming to get 12 new clients a year (websites). Currently i am using a VPS for my operations with WHM/cpanel. My clients are all stacked/bundle on my server. My clients are small business owners.
50% of sites are wordpress, 50% of sites are hmtl 5 or java/php/
At what stage do businesses look to have their own server? (total number of clients). A'lot of people have been saying i should be sticking to re-seller hosting until i have around 200 clients.
I use WHM alot so i understand the basic fundamentals on a server and its useage. I am not astute to running and updating directly with commands and i currently use a "hosts" "managed" vps option who do this for me. I know myself around Cpanel/WHM very well and have good knowledge.
After talking with a few server experts, I have been informed that Docker/Container or Jamstack would be the best way forward with regards to infrastructure and also moving to cloud technology remains probably the best way forward for speed, loadtimes for the future, are you in agreement if im building my webdesign company? I need to understand how to setup this environment. With possibly Linode, and what it would cost me.
With cloud and container technology can i still run WHM alongside? And also can i use hugo?
