? Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft and Server Expert (Freelancer) to assist with the implementation, configuration, migration, and support of Microsoft-based solutions and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365, with the ability to troubleshoot complex server and network-related issues.
? Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022)
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and domain services
• Set up and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
• Perform server migrations and upgrades
• Ensure server and network security best practices are in place (patch management, firewall settings, antivirus configurations)
• Configure and maintain file servers, print servers, and remote desktop services (RDS)
• Troubleshoot server-related issues and provide expert-level support
• Backup and disaster recovery planning using Windows Server Backup, Veeam, or equivalent
• Provide documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
? Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Windows Server Administrator or Systems Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, PowerShell
• Experience with Hyper-V or VMware virtualization
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: Azure AD, Azure Backup, Intune (preferred)
• Expertise in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate)

• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Availability for urgent issue handling (on-call support)
