IONOS Server Boot Repair
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My production IONOS Cloud Server, running Windows 2026, stopped booting right after the latest Windows Updates. It now sits forever on the spinning-dots loading screen—no blue screen, no automatic-repair loop. I have already restarted the VM from the cloud console and even tried rolling back the updates, but nothing has changed.
I can give you full access through the IONOS KVM console or a rescue ISO so you can work directly in the recovery environment, use DISM, bcdedit, System Restore, or any other tool you find appropriate. Your job is to identify what the updates broke—whether that’s a driver, registry corruption, or a bad patch—repair it, and get the server back to a normal desktop/terminal session without data loss.
Deliverables
• Server boots normally to the Windows login screen and all existing services start successfully.
• A brief summary of the root cause and the exact steps you took (commands, patches removed, drivers replaced, etc.) so I can keep internal documentation.
• Optional but appreciated: recommendations to prevent similar issues, such as snapshot routines or staggered update policies.
