Hi,
I'm a headshot photographer in NYC (www.davidgenik.com). I have a website (Squarespace since 2014), social media, Google Business map and everything I could think of up.
I haven't touched my site in 2 years. I did everything I could think of with SEO using squarespace built-in SEO tools. I have google Business and all the google tools setup. 99% of my traffic comes from google. I also have 170 5-Star reviews on google
The market I'm in is very very competitive. I need to drive more traffic to my site. I dont know what else I can do to drive traffic. There is enough photos on my website and adding more wont really change anything.
I tired Instagram, facebook, google and yelp ads. They increased traffic but didn't covert into sales. I still received the same amount of clients with and without ads. Everyone that books me is looking via google.
What can you do to help drive more traffic to my site. I am very very hesitant when it comes to SEO because I get 100's of spam emails form SEO companies and think they are all scams
There are certain keywords I need to hit and want to be page 1. For some keywords, I cant even be found. What keywords do I need to be page 1? Im page 1 for "nyc actor headshots" but that isnt enough. For "actor headshot photographer” im nowhere to be found
I use Squarespace, there isnt much I can do to make it faster or optimize.
I have tons of content, its just all photos. I have a small blog but its very old
I dont have any backlinks. Also there aren't that many keywords for my business. Im very local based.
