I’m looking for a Shopify SEO expert to help fix duplicate content and canonical URL issues caused by Shopify’s default architecture.

I’m looking for a Shopify SEO expert to help fix duplicate content and canonical URL issues caused by Shopify’s default architecture.

Shopify generates multiple URLs for the same product, such as:

Canonical:
https://www.out-grow.com/products/abalone-mushroom-pleurotus-cystidiosus

Duplicate:
https://www.out-grow.com/collections/liquid-culture/products/abalone-mushroom-pleurotus-cystidiosus

I've found the Liquid code (| within: collection) that causes this and could change it myself, but I’m unsure how it affects structured data and breadcrumbs. I also don't know how to properly fix the canonical tags or what’s going on in Google Search Console.

In Google Search Console:

I'm seeing lots of “Alternate page with proper canonical tag” issues

There are also URLs showing up from my old Magento store and other unknown sources

What I Need:

Fix internal links to use canonical product URLs where appropriate

Make sure <link rel="canonical"> tags are correctly implemented in the theme

Preserve or restore valid breadcrumb structured data so GSC doesn’t flag it

Help clean up legacy or incorrect URLs in Google Search Console (e.g. Magento URLs)

Ensure GSC is correctly indexing the preferred product URLs and collections

Please apply only if you've handled canonical and breadcrumb issues on Shopify specifically. Experience with fixing GSC indexing issues is a huge plus.
