keyword research and backlinks for my website

I am looking for a freelancer who can help me with keyword research and backlinks for my website. The main goal of my website is to improve search engine rankings. My target audience is businesses. I think I have my keywords sorted but would like to get your opinion and if it should be changed. Backlinks are something I do not have as yet.
My pages are crawled but still not showing in the search for more than a month unless you type my action business name in Google search directly.
