E-commerce SEO Optimization: Keyword Fluctuation Issue

I'm facing a challenging situation with my E-commerce website's SEO. Five crucial keywords are showing erratic behavior in Google's search results. One day they are on page one, and the next they plunge to page eight or nine. I suspect this might be a case of keyword cannibalization, but I'm unable to pinpoint the problem.
many other keywords (about 50) rank in the top 50 and 99 keywords in the top 10. but for the 5 important keywords we continue to have problems.
