WordPress to Shopify Migration with SEO Focus
Budget: $10 – $100 AUD
I am rebranding my business and need to migrate my website from WordPress to Shopify while ensuring zero SEO loss and a seamless domain transition.
My current website will be moving to a new domain and I want to redirect all traffic from the old domain to the new one without losing search engine rankings or traffic.
I am looking for an experienced Shopify and SEO expert to handle this migration properly.
The website design and pages will be different so I 'm not wanting to migrate or replicate design and build - just maintain SEO.
Scope of Work:
✅ Migrate website SEO from WordPress to Shopify, including blog posts and key pages.
✅ Set up 301 redirects to ensure all old URLs properly redirect to the corresponding pages on the new Shopify site.
✅ Maintain SEO rankings by correctly handling metadata, backlinks, and URL structures.
✅ Configure Google Search Console to notify Google of the domain change.
✅ Update DNS settings to point the new domain to Shopify.
✅ Troubleshoot & test for broken links, missing content, or SEO issues.
