Freelance WordPress & Digital Publishing Assistant Needed
We are looking for a reliable freelancer to help digitize and publish our print archive online using WordPress.
Scope of Work
You will assist with the following tasks:
1. Design & PDF Preparation
* Open approximately 5 Adobe InDesign packages
* Export and deliver low-resolution PDF files
* Open about 120 PDFs and convert cover pages into JPEG images
2. File Upload & Organization
* Upload all JPEGs and PDFs into WordPress Media Archive
* Categorize the media files correctly according to the give website and folder structure
3. 3D_Flipbook Creation with plugin
* Create 150 digital flipbooks from the uploaded PDFs and cover page thubnails/jpgs
4. Page Building in WordPress
* Create a clean and visually appealing 2 or 3 sample posts/pages using the Divi Builder
with the following elements: 1. Cover page jpg , flipbook code, a toggle with the description and table of content (NOTE: you will not to have to edit description or TOC, we deliver it as text)
* Ensure sample page are easy to navigate and mobile responsive
* Get approval for the design, do corrections
5. Bulk creation of pages/post including SEO Implementation
* Build 150 pages or posts, making use of approved sample page, just work with duplicate function, insert jpgs, descriptions, TOC provided by us
* Add SEO titles, tags, and meta descriptions also provided by us, male use of a plugin installed to mass edit SEO
* Maintain consistency and accuracy across all archive pages
Requirements
* Experience with WordPress and Divi Builder
* Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and PDF handling
* Experience using flipbook plugins in WordPress
* Basic understanding of on-page SEO implementation
* Attention to detail and organized workflow
Preferred
* Experience with digital publishing or online magazine archives
* Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
