WordPress Content Migration to New Theme
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My current website runs on WordPress and I’m moving everything into a freshly purchased WordPress theme. The new design is already installed on a staging server; what I need now is a meticulous migration of all existing site content so the new theme launches without broken links, layout glitches, or SEO setbacks.
The job involves:
• Copying every live page, post, menu, widget, and any custom post types into the new theme.
• Re-assigning page templates and adjusting Gutenberg or page-builder blocks so text, media, and calls-to-action match the new styling.
• Verifying that permalinks, featured images, and internal links carry over intact.
• Testing on desktop, tablet, and mobile to confirm that typography, spacing, and forms render properly.
• Tidying any stray inline styling left over from the old theme and replacing it with the new theme’s classes.
Deliverable is a fully functional staging site reflecting the new theme, ready for me to point DNS once final approval is given. I’ll supply WordPress admin credentials for both the live and staging environments plus the theme’s documentation.
