Translate E-Commerce Product Descriptions
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m preparing my online store for a full Portuguese launch and need every product description on the site turned into clear, convincing Portuguese. The source text is already organised in a CSV export from the website, so you can work directly in that file or in a CAT tool of your choice—just keep the column structure intact so I can re-import without issues.
Scope
• Only the product description fields require translation. All other areas of the site (checkout flow, reviews, menus, etc.) are handled separately.
What I’ll provide
• The CSV with English copy
• Brand and tone guidelines so the Portuguese version matches the voice of the store
What I expect back
• A completed CSV with each description accurately translated, preserving any HTML tags or placeholders
• Natural-sounding Portuguese that sells the product benefits, not a literal word-for-word rendering
• A quick note on any ambiguous phrases you encounter so we can clarify before final delivery
I’m looking for a native-level Portuguese translator who understands e-commerce vocabulary, SEO keywords and conversational selling language. If you have experience translating Shopify or WooCommerce stores—or you’re comfortable with term bases and translation memories—let me know. Turnaround time is flexible over the next week, but please include a realistic estimate in your proposal together with samples of similar work.
