Technical-SEO: Structured data, canonical tag, hreflang, url slug, pagination and internal link tasks
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
We have migrated our shop to Shopify. It is up and running. Sofar so good.
We have taken care of a lot of SEO aspects but certain Things are remaining.
Our shop: www.happyandpretty.de
Target markets for DE language: Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Target markets for EN language: ALL who do not have German or French as an (official) language.
Target markets for FR language: France.
To Do's:
1) Structured data markup (like schema.org)
2) What doesn't work at the moment are the EN/FR URLs. The content is FR and EN, but the URLs are still in German.
Example:
https://happyandpretty.de/collections/masken
https://happyandpretty.de/en/collections/masken
https://happyandpretty.de/fr/collections/masken
3) Die hreflang are not correct:
<link rel="alternate" hreflang="x-default" href="https://happyandpretty.de/">
<link rel="alternate" hreflang="de-DE" href="https://happyandpretty.de/">
<link rel="alternate" hreflang="en-DE" href="https://happyandpretty.de/en">
<link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr-DE" href="https://happyandpretty.de/fr“>
4) URL slugs are not translated
5) Pagination is combined with canonical. The canonical always refers to the first page of the list. This is not entirely correct.
If rel=prev/next is used, the canonical should always refer to the page itself (Google actually doesn't need next/prev anymore)
—> see also here https://www.seo-suedwest.de/4721-google-nutzt-rel-next-prev-schon-seit-jahren-nicht-mehr.html
5) Speed optimisation: I will only touch this issue, if there is any significant effect is going to be there.
6) Strategy & Implementation for more optimized internal links that guide users and distribute page authority.
If you are interested in this project, please write "I know technical SEO" somewhere in the description. Thus I will know that you have gone through the text and it is not fully automated reply. I need your rough price guess. If I think fit, I could give you shop access to have a look at certain aspects or we can have a video call before you quote me your price.
Too high price = you are out
