Submit E-Commerce Site to Baidu
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My e-commerce store is already live, fully functional, and presently published only in English. What’s missing is visibility on Baidu—China’s primary search engine. I need the entire submission process handled end-to-end so the site can be discovered and begin ranking for relevant searches inside mainland China.
The work involves:
• Setting up and verifying the domain inside Baidu Search Console (Baidu ZhanZhang).
• Generating and uploading a compliant XML sitemap, then submitting it through the console.
• Checking / updating robots.txt, canonical tags, and meta directives so Baidu can crawl every product and category page without issue.
• Adding essential Chinese meta titles, descriptions, and Open Graph equivalents where missing (machine translation is acceptable for now; manual tweaks welcome if you’re fluent).
• Providing a brief hand-off summary that shows the submission status and any additional steps I should take—preferably with screenshots from the Baidu dashboard.
Acceptance criteria: the property is verified in my Baidu ZhanZhang account, the sitemap status shows “Success,” at least one URL inspection returns “Indexed,” and I receive the summary report.
